Hi, my name is Peyton Adams, and I am a Veterinary Assistant at Neighborhood Vet Hospital of Bonsall, CA. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and hanging out with friends. At home I have Kaine, a four-year-old pit bull mix who loves attention and belly rubs—he's my velcro dog.
Favorite Part of My Job
What I enjoy most is seeing pets recover and get back to their normal, energetic selves after being cared for and treated.
Why I Chose This Profession
I've always had a love for animals, and it's been a dream of mine to work in this field since I was a kid.
Education
I attended PIMA Medical Institute for one year while working at a pet boarding facility, completing an internship there as part of the Veterinary Assistant program. I earned my Veterinary Assistant certificate in December 2024.
Professional Background
I'm beginning to learn more about the dental side of the practice and have found a real interest in it—I especially enjoy doing cleanings.
Work History
In 2024, I worked as a receptionist and kennel attendant at an Oceanside animal boarding facility, where I checked clients into the facility, tracked their pets' stays and belongings, cleaned cat and dog kennels, and supervised dogs in group settings. I joined Neighborhood Vet Hospital of Bonsall full time in January 2025.
